Meet the Author
Nyell Jeudy is a Boston Native and a second generation Haitian American. Raised in the Allston Brighton area by her single mother, she had the luxury of a diverse and rich cultural upbringing. Nyell has always had a passion for education, sports, and her community. She studied at Barry University and also attended the Connecticut School of Broadcasting in Needham MA where she trained to become certified as on-air talent for radio and television. In 2009 Nyell’s professional path began in the entertainment industry as on-air talent in radio. Later on, she decided to shift gears and focus on working in her own community to help the youth.
Over the past decade, Nyell lost several friends and some family members to gun violence in her very own community. In 2017 Nyell shifted gears to focus on Mindfulness and Trauma response focused work. She is a meditation teacher, sound healing practitioner, graceful yoga teacher and a certified wellness coach. Nyell was moved to begin embracing her natural healing abilities to increase self-awareness within the Boston community. Nyell fully understands what loss and trauma does to the body, so she uses trauma based mindful practices as a lifestyle. She encourages all to increase the body's natural energy by using indigenous, native natural alternative approaches. Using Sound Healing as a tool of healing as well. Nyell has worked with people of all ages and backgrounds to provide access to mindful tools and a holistic lifestyle.
